Fund accounting on QuickBooks Online
Every fund balanced.
Every month. Automatically.
QuickBooks Online sweeps every dollar of net income into one equity account — so your restricted funds never move. AutoFund Accounting builds the monthly adjusting entry that puts each fund's activity where it belongs, and posts it only after you approve.
Built for churches, schools, and nonprofits that track restricted funds.

The problem
QuickBooks parks every fund's income in one account
At close, QuickBooks sweeps all net income into a single equity account — your General Fund. Your scholarship fund can take in $50,000 of gifts and its balance won't move a cent. Most treasurers patch around it with spreadsheets and hand-typed journal entries.
AutoFund Accounting reads your Profit & Loss by Class and moves each fund's net income out of the General Fund into that fund's own equity account — one balanced entry a month.

How it works
From connected to closed in four steps
No exports, no formulas, no retyping account numbers at 11pm on the last day of the month.
Connect QuickBooks in one click
Sign in through Intuit and we import your chart of accounts and Classes. We never see your password, and you can revoke access at any time from either side.
Map each fund to its Class
Each fund needs its own equity account in your chart of accounts. Point each one at the QuickBooks Class that tracks its activity, and tell us which equity account QuickBooks sweeps net income into — your General Fund. Set it once — it just keeps working.
Fund mapping
Preview every line before it posts
Each month we build the adjusting entry from your P&L by Class and show you every debit and credit — the General Fund takes a single netted offset. Nothing touches your books until you say so.

Push it to QuickBooks — done
One click posts the entry as a normal QuickBooks journal entry you can open, audit, and reverse like any other. Your Balance Sheet shows true fund balances, inside QuickBooks, every month.

Fund drill-down
Click any fund to see the activity behind the number — month by month, entry by entry.
Export to Excel
Any run or fund view exports to a clean .xlsx that matches exactly what's on screen — board-packet ready.
Adjustment history
Every month's run kept with its journal entry — what moved, when it posted, and who approved it.
You approve every entry
AutoFund Accounting is read-only until you click approve. Your books never change without your sign-off.
Secured by Intuit sign-in
We connect through Intuit's own OAuth — we never see your QuickBooks password, and access is revocable any time.
Nothing is irreversible
Entries post as standard QuickBooks journal entries: open them, audit them, reverse them like any other.
Requirements: fund tracking uses QuickBooks Classes, which needs QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced — and each fund needs its own equity account in your chart of accounts. AutoFund maps to those accounts and can’t create them for you.
